About our Self-Catering River Cottage
This off-grid holiday unit sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms (2 double beds, 2 single beds) and thus makes it a perfect holiday house for a family. If you need additional sleeping spaces there are perfect camping spots close to the house where you can pitch your own tent.
Loch Loeries River cottage is fully solar operated. The kitchen is equipped with a large fridge-freezer and a big gas stove & oven. Enjoy cooking with your family in the open kitchen and dining/lounge space, or choose to have a braai just outside by the river. An indoor braai facility is provided as well.

Wilderness with one of the most beautiful beaches of the Garden Route is a short drive away (10 km).
Even closer is the lovely Hoekwil, with original coffee shops and local food store Floreer, where you can get the best of the local goodies such as fresh organic and naturally grown veggies, artisanal breads, yoghurt, cream cheese, meat and so much more. They also host a market every Friday which is great to stock your fridge for the weekend.
The world famous surf spot Victoria Bay is only 20 minutes away, and to Buffalo Bay close to Knysna you can get within 40 minutes.
Your host Juan offers to take you fishing or spearing on our magical coastline, or on a kloofing experience into the wild mountains.
The area has a lot to offer, from beautiful hikes in coastal areas or mountains to endless beaches, local shops, galleries, markets and restaurants.
