Payment Agreement
100% of the booking fee will be charged to secure your booking.
Cancellation Policy
When cancelling more than 30 days before arrival, we reimburse the booking total in full.
When cancelling less than 30 days before arrival, forfeit 50 % of the booking total.
When cancelling less than 14 days before arrival, forfeit 100 % of booking total.
Terms & Conditions
No pets allowed.
Any breakages, stains or damage to the cottage, furnishings and linen or towels provided during a guests stay will be charged to their final account.
Loch Loerie uses a grey water system from baths and showers for garden irrigation. Please use only our natural body wash and shampoo. Do not dispose of any chemicals into the water system.

Road Access
Loch Loerie is on the Seven Passes Road. When approaching us from Hoekwil, the dirt road part you need to drive is only 1km and usually in a good condition. Due to the heavy rains this winter, we advise to take the corners slowly. A 4×4 / SUV is not needed to get to us or your accommodation.
Self-Catering
Loch Loerie is a self-catering accommodation. The kitchen is equipped with a five-plate gas stove and big gas oven, a great variety of family sized pots & pans, baking equipment, a fridge freezer combo, a coffee plunger and all cutlery and crockery. We provide some ground coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper and spices.
There are coffee shops and restaurants in Hoekwil, a 10 min. drive and a number of restaurants in Wilderness village, a 20min drive away.
Fire pit and LAVA indoor braai
Wood and fire lighters are provided for the fire place. Additional wood can be purchased at R 100 per load, which is about four to five times the amount of your usual plastic bag.
Activities
One of the best things at Loch Loerie is the direct access to a beautiful river beach. Take a blanket and picnic basket and easily enjoy an entire day at this perfect spot.
Things you can do directly from your accommodation are: Hiking, Swimming, Bird Watching, Kloofing

We are a 40 min drive from George airport where you can rent a car for your holiday.

Taxi service
Craigs taxi operates in the greater Wilderness area and can shuttle up to 6 people. He is happy to take you to your canoeing expedition, paragliding appointment or to the restaurant in town and back.
